How can it be I am a virgin?
How can it be I am an atheist, agnostic, humanistic, a sinner?
How can it be without evidence, without prove?

How can it be that my new born son would bring me hurt like a stabbed wound?
How can it be that my new born is promising yet stir up strife?
How can it be that God exists with suffering?

What have you done to me and your father?
How can it be Jesus that you were so insensitive and stayed behind Jerusalem without permission?
How can it be that because of you I feel lost, depressed, disillusioned?

How can it be that my son’s preaching had brought danger upon himself?
How can it be that my son’s fame had brought shame to the family?
How can it be that he did not care about my anxiety?

How can it be that Jesus was accused as the gang leader of a coup?
How can it be that my son brought about such disgrace?
How can it be that he turned water into wine and not my pain into joy?

Yes it can be because God has brought the mighty down from their thrones
Yes it is because God has lifted up all the lowly and poor
Yes it is for Godness is beyond good or bad times…
